Our Family of Companies

Greetings friends and colleagues,

Well, we're not sure where summer went, but the season is winding down and before you know it, the sun will be setting on this one.

But before the long days come to a close, and we return to our routines, many of us take this time to start a new hobby or learning experience, as this is a perfect time to pursue them before we get back to our busy schedules.
And as we get ready to savor the last rays of summer sun, it is time for us to once again feature one of our HRG friends as part of our year-long 20th Anniversary celebration.
This month, we are featuring Nonprofit Westchester, one of the most important organizations in the region. NPW has continued to grow and expand in their role as advocates and educators to 142 members. Congratulations to Joanna Straub and her entire staff at NPW for their hard work and dedication to one of the largest employment sectors in Westchester!

For now, if you haven't already, we invite you to Like us on Facebook.

Wishing you a most pleasant and enjoyable end of the summer season - see you in September!

End of Summer - Re-energize - Reinvigorate
The last days of summer are always a mixture of the glad and the sad, as we realize that the better the time, the faster it goes. But before we start thinking of putting the grills, coolers, bikes and golf clubs away, there is still time to get involved with the rewards of learning something new.

Here are a few ideas you may want to pursue to experience and enjoy this month, and in years to come:
Take a Boot Camp Culinary Vacation

A multi-day, life-changing immersion into the world of food, the CIA Boot Camp will teach you how to cook, bake, and think like professional chefs do, as you prepare amazing food and meet incredible people. Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the Culinary Institute of America offers a wide range of hands-on courses, for novices through fanatical foodies.
Build your Own Adirondack Chair

Have you ever thought of working with your hands on a craft and building something you can admire and enjoy around your home? Take a class at Bentwood Studios in Carmel, a woodworking studio where students from around the NY metro area come for custom designed woodworking classes using the finest local hardwoods and tools. Their family of craftsmen work with beginners and experts alike to create unique hand-crafted woodworks that last a lifetime. From tables, chairs, cabinetry, bowl turning and jar spoon-making, you can master the skills and equipment needed to build your own furniture at your own pace.

Develop your Photography Skills
We all take photos to capture our experiences, and the summer months have surely maxed out many a smartphone's storage space. But what do we do with all this digital content?

Enroll in a class at The Digital Arts Experience in White Plains, as they offer group and private lessons in a variety of topics for adults, including Digital Photography, Video Editing, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Web Design with WordPress, Blogging, and Video Production.
Learn How to Play an Instrument
It is never too late to pursue your passion to play, so why not get started on a high note now?

The Music Conservatory of Westchester
in White Plains offers group and individual classes for aspiring musicians from 18 - 80, and whether you're experienced or trying something for the first time, you'll be inspired and challenged when you take individual or group instrumental lessons with our enthusiastic faculty members who enjoy sharing their expertise.

Whatever your passion, this may be the perfect time to pursue it!
